In this season of Spring 2017, I'll be writing weekly posts on the biblical book of Daniel.
Looking at Daniel with a post-Easter perspective reveals to us that Daniel and Jesus' disciples (even today) have something in common:
They live lives of DEDICATION
while dealing with the DELAY
in God's promised DELIVERANCE
in the midst of DISTRESS
In a way, we're all experiencing a flight delay:
- Daniel, waiting for a flight to return him home from exile in Babylon...
- Us, waiting for a flight to return us home to be with Jesus in his eternal kingdom...
How do you maintain hope in the midst of waiting?
