You might have noticed that I've been on a break from my weekly blog posts since the first of the year. It's all in an effort to ramp up to a Lent focus on recognizing God's blessings in our lives.
It will be called Treasure Hunters, because to count the blessings God places in our lives it helps to seek them out as treasure, something of infinite value. We'll take lessons from scripture and link them to some memorable scenes from popular "treasure-hunting" movies.
It will be partnered with our church's Lent study of Ann Voskamp's book One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are. Expect the first post during the week of March 2nd.
